I root for underdogs. And kindness. And democracy. Also: writer, critter rescuer & bleeding heart.
It's reassuring to hear from an insider that some GOP members of Congress know that Trump is hurting the USA. But it's equally disturbing to learn that, until it becomes deeply and personally painful, they'll keep supporting the carnage. What cowards.

Of course he did.

Don't mess with the enforcer!

...and yet our transportation secretary is busy obsessing over what Americans wear to the airport and whether or not we work out.

What does it say about the moral condition of this Congress that they take our hard-earned tax dollars and shovel them to millionaires, while depriving us of the services they were intended to fund?

I'm so sorry, Senator. I have been on this journey with my mom. It's hard and heart-breaking.

I personally found a geriatric care manager was invaluable in helping me make sound decisions. You don't have to do it alone.

I love how Duffy keeps finding new ways to insult the American people, rather than address massive industry problems. First, we dress like slobs. Now, we're all out-of-shape fatties.

11 yrs ago, I reluctantly fostered a big, hyper dog. While we worked on training, I prayed he'd find a home.

But over time, he stole my heart. Turned out, his home was with me.

My boy died unexpectedly a few weeks ago. Now I'd do anything to have those chaotic early days back. Keep the faith.

He did it with his magic sharpie!

This is a rarely-discussed component of the Cat Distribution System.

IMO, retractable leashes are a hands-down hazard for puppers and people.
December 3, 2025 at 6:35 PM
What's more upsetting: the fact that this President is so clearly unfit or that Congress won't do it's job and step in? We deserve better.
December 2, 2025 at 9:33 PM
That is very cat-like.

My cats love eating ribbon--the gift-wrapping kind. Unfortunately, their stomachs do not. Which means in this house, 'tis the season of cleaning up cat puke.

...and perfectly round.

Something, something..."she didn't pay me"?
December 1, 2025 at 7:05 PM
I wish some intrepid reporter would track down the bribes behind these appalling pardons. Maybe it would shame Congress to...

oh, never mind.

As the sibling of a person with special needs who was called this throughout childhood, the R-word wounds me in a way no other term does. Which is why so many hateful people use it.

That the President of the United States is one of them is beyond shameful. How far we've fallen.

This is what social media should be!

Great read, thank you! Rang very true.

Can I add five words? "The rich are the richest they have ever been, and they seem mostly to be focused on … keeping their money." AND TAKING MORE OF OURS!

...and what did the cats say back?

...and sometimes acupuncture. If they start making biscuits.

It's very catlike that Mr. Do-Not-Touch-Me positions himself so you almost CAN'T not touch him. His day probably isn't complete unless he whaps a customer or two.
November 26, 2025 at 6:25 PM
Shameful how this White House keeps yelling "TRAITOR!" and "SEDITION!" at others...when they're the ones betraying us in real time.
November 26, 2025 at 6:06 PM
GOP Reps are about to inflict big-time pain on their constituents with the big bad bill, and they know it. I think they want to cash in and check out before the shite hits the fan.

Guessing most are in too deep to start doing the right thing now.
November 26, 2025 at 2:46 PM
Yes, but what were the separate things?
