I only heard the first Korn album, and it was so goofy, he like gets close to the mic and whispers some bullshit for 5 minutes while the bassist plucks 1 string and the drummer taps 1 cymbal, then the track gets 'heavy' and it's just a normal rock song.

Some lesser known Spiritual Jazz Favorites of mine:
1. Billy Harper: Knowledge of Self
This is is totally crazy. He is so good at saxophone and has such a great backing band. I wasn't anticipating him to be so close to Coltrane in ability.

Its kind of funny how there is a guy called Dan Deacon who sounds like the Animal Collective and makes music like them but he's unrelated to the person in that band called Deacon

One of favorite death metal albums of this year, it's like their last album but even more unique and free in it's approach to composition.

Every year thousands of extremely technically gifted people get together so they can put out identical sounding dissonant death metal albums that sound like Ulcerate but less creative, unlistenable to 99.9% of people and not unique to the remaining .1%

Honestly, I like the more spacey jammy sound on Europe 72' more, but this is still really good.

I Think it is more interesting to answer this literally

1. Miles Davis: The Complete Columbia Albums

2. May 1977: Get Shown the Light

3. Longmont Potion Castle: Official Compact Discography

4. Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band: Live 1975-85

5. LTJ Bukem: Logical Progression

This is the first thing I listened to to ease myself into the band, has a better recording quality than their early studio albums and it has a more succinct length than their other live releases. I think I should relisten to it, but
