I hate giving this an average rating. In fact, I was scared and tense throughout the film! However, the ending completely ruins it. Or at the very least is not doing enough to explain to us what is happening. I feel as though they would have been better NOT explaining the villains of this movie.

Honestly, I don't get the hate. The movie is really great, and tells what is clearly a personal story of someone struggling with an issue that many people deal with every day. Did not deserve the R rating, though.

I saw this movie with one of my best friends and we were both fucking stumped. It is well-made and the music really holds it up, but why is everyone trying to fuck Gawain?

As of this week, I am no longer a fan of Eurovision. My Bluesky thread, all my Eurovision history, YouTube sub, everything, has been removed by me. It is clear that the EBU will do whatever Israel wants even if it comprises their "apolitical" agenda.

So just saw Perfect Blue (1997) with @unaruppokkmajinyan.bsky.social and... holy shit. That movie is uncomfortable as fuck. The torment and downward spiral of the main character is so deeply disturbing to watch. But it also made me so mad how NOBODY STEPPED IN!!!

Despite how not cheap this was, I miss the era of fun UIs like this!
Apple had its own online service like America Online and CompuServe in 1994 called eWorld. It was $9/mo, plus an additional $5-9 for each hour, depending on weekday or weekend hours. The service lasted less than 2 years.
