Been disassociating from the news by playing Echoes of Wisdom, reading Dungeon Crawler Carl, and watching Drawfee on YouTube. Can only take so much doom-scrolling before you start to spiral.

A sad lesson is how much media distorts what jobs look like in the field. I have been a librarian for 15 years. Not once has a group of young adults come into the library to ask about a local murder, research haunted houses, or mysterious town folklore to stop a string of supernatural killings.
