It was a very half-measured attempt to make it open world, definitely.

Like if there were other events that happened mid-hunt that pulled you into another zone or something, it would be cool.

There are new Hand Cannons with a Spreadshot Frame that basically operate as a small shotgun.

They don't one-hit, but they two tap at considerable range, and it's really easy to land one shot and follow up with a melee.
