Hello everyone. I'm an artist making strangely humorous works as I pick through the flot/jetsam on my mental beach. Join me for fun and fellowship.

Despite knowing whodunnit in advance, I took the SAG? Chaps' recommendation and Black Christmas is an absolute monstrous pearl of a movie. It's not 12th night yet, so check it out.

148. Black Christmas - Still Any Good?
Paul Young once sang "It's Christmas time, and there's no need to be afraid".  How bloody wrong was he!  For our Christmas Special we've gone for the 1974 Canadian proto-slasher, BLACK CHRIS...

The Wedding Present at Buxton Opera house last night, with added lighting by the set of Aladdin. Splendid gig despite it being an all-seater.

You'd expect Trump to be self aggrandising in any statement he makes, but his comment on the murders of Rob and Michele Reiner just go to confirm that there is no trace of humanity in him. He is just the worst.

This column on Vox is the biggest pile of steaming AI crap I've seen this year. Human's aren't running out of ideas. Instead, those with power and money don't want to listen to ideas that threaten their power and money.

Ideas are plentiful. Putting those ideas into action is the hard part.
We’re running out of good ideas. AI might be how we find new ones.
What if the best use of AI is restarting the world’s idea machine?

Who else has heard the "Psst, hey you! Lost in your podcast?" Lotto advert where the guy sounds like he's tapped you on the shoulder from behind? How did they not think that it would be the most irritating thing ever?

Romiley civic theatre is advertising a tribute band called A Headful of Coldplay. Well done for marrying up the horrid congested, snotty experience of Coldplay with the unpleasant sensation of a cold. The week after that there's Dire hoea, a tribute to Mark Knopfler.

These days whenever I see any poster that looks eye catching or a great illustration, the first thing that I do is mistrust its origin. There's no effort, no human strength and weakness, no skill to commend, just whim and the desire to have something, just a speeded-up workflow.
It makes us not trust anything, which is a violence done to our souls.
