Back on Bluesky after more than a year, this is the first post I see

Voted for the first time in my life right now to unionize my workplace.

Can’t believe I had to go to work on a religious holiday (Global Day of Jihad).

First class citizens, and second class citizens, then third class non-citizens... neatly segmented like layers of hell.

Watched a grown man convulse in tears because he had to explain to his children why they were “illegal residents” of a country younger than their family has been in it. Not to mention the fact their mother was a citizen, but they never, ever could be. “Stateless” for life.

Wondering if I can actually speak unrestrained here... the mukhabarat haven’t discovered this place yet.

Just saw a Bluesky screencap posted on Reddit, decent amount of upvotes, feels rather momentous and historically significant.

Reading about Russell Brand’s sex crimes at the Museum of Modern Art.

Heading down to NYC tomorrow morning, hearing that they’re very welcoming to visitors.

Pronouncing ‘Bluesky’ like it’s a Slavic surname.
