You get a feather fine close up in flight, I reflexively want to know your camera body, lens and settings. I have no gear anymore. It's not a poor man's hobby but hey. I know what kind of glass and tech it takes. I used Bubble-gum and Baling Wire, did my best, but love the imagery.

Gorgeous. Inland passage, Seattle to Juneau, Captain asleep, First Mate at the Wheel, Humpies were feeding. First Mate did a full circle so he could watch. When the tail comes up, they're diving. In a few minutes they come up, fully out of the water with a gullet full of Krill making a huge splash.

No taxation without representation. It's as obvious as rain in Seattle. a 50-50 State with a Veto proof Republican majority? Our cities need to join in union, in defiance of our State Houses + demand a form of autonomous statehood, Senate Seats. I know that's too big a lift but it's the right thing.

Yuppir! Repeal the Congressional Reapportionment Act of 1929. States weren't fulfilling their duty to redistrict per National Census every 10 years. It didn't work + exacerbated the trend. Folks move to cities in waves for work, over representing rural, under representing the rest.

That whole Red State vs Blue State paradigm is only important under the racist, Electoral College system. The real division is urban regions leaning Blue vs rural regions, leaning Red. It's an archipelago of cities floating on a sea of real estate.

Follow Jess Piper. Remember Governor Dean's "50 State Strategy?" Sanders + other progressives have kept that torch burning. Stacey Abrams grass roots work didn't prevent her Governor's chair from being stolen, but the increased participation, arguably gave us the Senate. I'm with you though, 100%.

In the PNW, after the storm, many of them came to visit, decided to stay, enriching our lives and communities. I was down there 6 months after Katrina, doing some work. It still looked like a war zone. I just wish I could have seen it before.

Fanatical, over the top antisocialism was a defining characteristic in the original, Webster's definition of Fascism. In the 3rd World that was removed. The "Proud Boys" locally were just obsessed with "Antifa." It fills their need for hatred.
