Thanks for paying it back! If you made an offer to an author based on one genre, would it matter that they are currently working on another novel in a wildly different genre? ( literary historic vs contemporary high concept)

Great question. My book does the same - WF set in the 80s. I'm hoping for something that shows a plus sized woman looking fabulous and smoking a cigarette. Faceless like Evelyn Hugo, but without the dress and impossible waist. (Not even sure I'd call that one a trad cover)
