This is true - there's more to it than that because we should be beating macclesfield regardless ffs. But it's an increasingly obvious problem and it makes our tag as favourites for the CL laughable.

Find this slightly embarrassing. Yes, it's a terrible outcome that appears to have benefitted clubs who are in MCOs and punished one that isn't, and UEFA need to look at how the rules could allow thus. But it's a massive governance failure by CPFC that this wasn't picked up on and sorted out.

It's a serious governance failing that this wasn't picked up as a potential risk and acted on. I think the rules are dumb, and the punishment unduly harsh considering he's now sold, but this is still a massive balls up by the club.
