We need more workers, and we need to end the exploitation of the residential construction workforce–the very workers tasked with building the housing lost in the fires. Most cannot afford to live in the city they are helping to rebuild.

– 1 in 6 construction workers are paid under the table or misclassified, costing California over $1 Billion per year in lost taxes.
