The second batch went out this weekend and will hopefully be with people soon. That just leaves a handful of singles and the multiple book parcels to sort, which should be done in the next week.

Then a break to refocus and reassess in light of life changes over the past 6 months.

No but they've got first refusal on that date and it should be signed off in the next week.

I can't find the gif where someone moves a piece of furniture and the entire room flips about but that has been my life this afternoon

It's been lovely seeing the first pictures of the game arrive in backers hands, I always forget how great a feeling that is.

Thank you for backing it! I hope you enjoy it.

Are these actual modules that you did? My mind cannot comprehend that mix being real let alone an option though I do now feel like I have a much deeper understanding of your games looking at that.

My course was hyper focused on biochemistry and with the exception of an optional module on the history and philosophy of science I didn't get any choices until 4th year.

Though iirc we both went to the same stuck in tradition uni where the idea of mixed degrees was far too modern a concept.

Have you been to the new hobby store in Birkenhead yet? I need to get done there at some point and see what they've got.

Yeah, Fletcher & Frost. Not a bad selection given the size and they'll order in books if you ask.

Thanks, right now it's simple enough that I'm just going with the brute force hundreds of runs approach but if I ever get to more complex situations I might need to consider Monte Carlo approaches (which I don't really understand)

Is it silly how much joy having a spine with text on The Words We Leave Behind is bringing me?

I spent my Friday evening working on the script to test the mechanics. I could do it in R but decided to go with python as a learning opportunity (I use python occasionally but just can't get it to stick in my head). I have a feeling the results are going to highlight how much work the game needs.
