Some guy who posts about sports, movies, video games and junk. I sometimes stream on Twitch. Coffee bandit. He/Him
I will say this til the day I die that the Microsoft Zune was a far better product than the Apple IPod. Zune was so ahead of its time and was really trying to usher in music subscription and sharing. Practically every aspect that Spotify uses today. Still nuts to think about what could’ve been.

The recent BKFC Ice Wars fight card was actually pretty good. Nice to have them fighting on actual ice again instead of on those synthetic ice tiles. Give it a watch for free on YouTube. www.youtube.com/live/L9QkHOZ...

Got to say that it's nice to have the Asia League Ice Hockey games being streamed on YouTube again.

Take note of the frogs that like to be boiled. They will pretend later that they never intended what they themselves caused.

Just found out that the KBO league (Korean baseball) is streamed on the South Korean platform Soop (basically Korean Twitch) for free. So if you have a whack sleep schedule like I do then check it out. All the game VODs from this season are available as well. www.sooplive.com/category/kbo...

Man this really sucks. Monolith was responsible for my favorite game F.E.A.R.. Sending my thoughts to everyone who lost their job.
BREAKING: Warner Bros. Games is shutting down Monolith Productions, Player First Games, and WB San Diego, sources tell Bloomberg News.

Warner Bros. is also canceling the Wonder Woman game.

I think this Academy Sports has had these for a long time. MLL hasn’t existed since 2020 with the merger with the PLL.

I wish I could go back in time & tell my younger self how awesome the future was going to be. I’d tell myself about all the wonderful people I met over the years, that I’d be happily engaged & that I would be back in school doing something I genuinely enjoy. Don’t ever give up.

“Your life is already over since you’re engaged.” My guy, this is the happiest I’ve been in all my life. I think I’ll be fine.

My first semester of college is finally in the books. Time for the real fun to start this upcoming semester. I’m so stoked for the future.

Back in the day this would be considered malware. Now all these out of touch tech bros think we want this intrusive garbage. We don’t want this & we don’t need it. Between this & all of the AI trash that’s flooding tech it’s making my eyes roll so far back into my skull.
This is a nightmare.

If this iteration of the Arena Football League doesn’t get a full blown ESPN 30 for 30 documentary then what are we even doing here man… This is one of the most wild sports stories I’ve seen in a minute. Maybe they’ll suit up Bishop Sycamore in Iowa Rampage gear for the upcoming game vs the Storm.
May 3, 2024 at 1:24 AM
It’s wild to me that Slamball never got an ESPN 30 for 30 documentary. It just seems like such a layup given all the highs and lows the sport/league went through.

Started a book club with my girlfriend where we spin a wheel to see which genre it lands on and we have to buy the other person a book in that genre. Then when we’re done we’ll switch and read the others book. Honestly it’s been so fun and dumb. Can’t recommend it enough.

21 days until the puck drops for the PWHL. It blows my mind they haven’t said where you can watch the games. They don’t have arenas locked down for all of the dates on the schedule they released. Teams don’t have names. I hope they pull it off but man do they have a hill to climb.

I wish other leagues had the guts to do “Unified Standings,” like how the National Lacrosse League is doing it. I get why other leagues don’t, but I’m honestly digging it so far.

Given the fact that Bally Sports has now worked out a new deal with the NBA and the MLB to have their contracts end after this season I can only assume Ballys Sports will close up shop next year. All I have to say is good riddance if that’s the case.

Sorry Bojangles, but using an AI chat bot for drive thru orders is possibly one of the worst experiences I’ve had ordering food. It messed up my order. Sorry but you’ve got to go.

So the AHL app on iPhone has been updated. It looks sleek. Downside is that AHL TV doesn’t seem to work at all at the moment on iPhone and Roku. I can’t even get the live game feed list to pull up on Roku. When I select a game on iPhone it says “game not found”. What a mess.

Another year down and still going strong. Never thought I’d make it this far to be honest. Just happy to be here and making so many wonderful memories. Life is a wonderful and messy journey. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Love y’all! Keep fighting the good fight. ;
