Step 2: (redoing because I forgot adult text) move laundry appliances to crawl space, install tankless water heater, build shelves, and move everything in the garage to the crawl space.

Step 1: Excavate under the house and install a concrete pad to support laundry machines. I had to dig a new pit for the sump pump too.
Interior under house. Freshly dug dirt on left and 6 foot by 8 foot area on the right with level gravel in corner with exposed pipes and insulation. Same under house interior from previous picture with professionally installed 6 foot by 8 foot cement pad in the corner over the gravel.

Step 0: What I'm starting with.
