Took my mum to the cinema the other day.
One of my favourite things is cinema popcorn and here in Portugal they make it fresh. 😍
When I lived in the UK they only had bagged ones that they would empty in the big displays.

I've never tried the real ones, so I can only assess them by my partner's opinion. He approved! Haha!
Although the recipe I followed wasn't great: measurements were weird and I had to adjust as I went.

These schnitzels are so good that I made a batch as Christmas' present! And already have a request for them as Easter presents 🤭

These schnitzels are so good that I made a batch as Christmas' present! And already have a request for them as Easter presents 🤭

My newest obsession, specially on my follicular phase:
Brussel sprouts, mushrooms, cheese, natto and seasoning.
It takes less than 5 minutes to prepare, and it's the reason my natto stash is disappearing fast!
Very strong taste, very strong smell, and I love it!

Yesterday on my weekly ham making sesh, I took a portion that didn't fit the deli press, divided it in two and flattened them to make these panko chicken-like seitan steaks. It is similar to the Austrian Schnitzel, but Portuguese inspired.
Both my partner and I approved it! 🥳

It does't look pretty and round (I blame it on the knife that needs to be sharpened), but it was pretty tasty!
Do you know how to choose soy sauce? Shake it. If it forms lots of bubbles and they persist, buy it!

We're resorting to salads, cold sandwiches (today was tuna mayo), lots of fruit, smoothies, juices, and infusions.
But there's hope! We'll finally get down to 30°C next Sunday... 🥲
