I'd just like to have a working visual imagination during the day even! Mine's been shot for as long as I remember - back in primary school even.

For years people thought I was just wasting money on art. Little did they know, I was collecting social credibility to prove my very existence online.

Thanks for the excuse to spend more money on artwork!

I honestly never thought about it.

But I'm pretty oldschool and do all important business on my PC. Other than a one-off app purchase, everything's been done through a browser or first-party desktop app.

I love being in the kind of circles that do xkcd references

I like the part where watching your streams fills the tab process memory and then freezes when it gets to 5GB.

Minor movements draw dreadfully profound pain.
Hoping heals well within the today; rest required 'til then.

As a Linux enthusiast, I have to agree.
Lying about the capabilities and choices is a terrible way to get people to join.

And it's not yet suitable for everyone, so this kind of approach is just going to sully the reputation of the project and the OS.

A more down-to-Earth approach would be nice.

Nope, but thought it might be useful if you ever get a save where it can take 20+ seconds to trigger :p

It reminds me of an artist who does some amazing work, but at insane resolutions. Iirc they said they're embarrassed because if you zoom in, every stroke is actually quite messy. But the artwork as a whole looks incredible every time!

I know what you mean. You get so into the details that by the end, you miss the bigger picture. Always feel like there's more to be done and fixate on the little bits you didn't do quite how you think is best..

I have one piece of artwork paid and waiting on, and just sent out an email to commission a custom crochet!

I love the interaction with artists as well as the final piece. As long as I can continue to afford it, I'm going to continue working with these amazing people.

Autosave lag can be a pain, but if you host the game as a dedicated then it's actually not so bad. :3

Oh, this is an interesting talk! I recently ended up in some of the discussions talked about here (by accident), had some good talks with Nate and co in the VDG. They're really cool people, really open to discussion if you're wanting to improve the UX in KDE and apps.

How did they have 11 kids and still be able to afford to take them away for a week? And on a plane no less?

Baffling!
