Football culture photography around the world. All photos my own. I reserve the right to waffle about other things.

"Tell me how you play and I'll tell you who you are."
David, I think this might be your best ever

I said this at the time. I think the comms even mentioned that he did well to stop our defenders getting to it, but no one questioned the offside at all. But it is what it is, we only have ourselves to blame for not winning really.

It was a different world back then. Hopefully you can find a reason to go back again in the internet age!

I'm surprised, if anyone is going to find a game I'd expect it to be you! You've got me googling the Mongolian Premier League now!

That's really cool! I'd love to see Mongolia and the Stan countries. Not easy places to travel round though! What took you there?

This might just be a trick of my memory, but India seem to play Pakistan in pretty much every WC in both formats. It's very convenient for viewing figures.

I think Arteta will go under, but I'd play the Carabao team. The Chelsea game is huge and there's a lot more room for error in the CL than PL - we only need top 8 rather than top 1, and have games v Brugge and Kairat to come.

Somehow made even better by Wrighty dropping his phone when he's trying to stop the recording. Love him.

I can get on board with having 3 holidays a year, but everything else sounds awful to me!

On the other hand, he could do the most hilarious thing by standing in Washington and NOT doing that...

I mean, he obviously won't, but he could.

Unless he's been to Australia...

I have an excel spreadsheet of exactly this, with the intention of getting my camera into all of them at some point. So if you need a photographer...!

Just a hunch given that it was always his position growing up and CM is the oldest area of our squad. We've allowed him to come into the first team in a role that plays to his natural strengths but has less pressure on it than the Zubi/Rice roles. I think over time he'll graduate.

My thinking is that MLS is seen long term as a midfielder, and Arteta would like to start moving him there this season

Respect to the free kick taker though. It's absolutely pinpoint into the space he clears
