It is important to check the 🩸blood pressure regularly (once/year), and 🩸🍭blood sugar and 🩸🍟blood lipids (once/5 year) at your healthcare provider to monitor for disease signs 📈

These risks can be reduced by exercise🏋🏽‍♀️, keeping a healthy weight, eating healthy🥗, not smoking🚭, and getting enough sleep 🛌🏻. Also, research has shown that breastfeeding🤱🏾 for a longer time can reduce the risk of developing the above-mentioned diseases.

4/7 Moderate dysmenorrhoea boosted chronic pain risk by 65%, and severe by 76%. This increased risk covered many body areas, including headache, lower back, and abdominal pain.

3/7 A significant 59.7% of adolescents reported moderate or severe dysmenorrhoea. The study found a clear "dose-response": more severe period pain in youth led to a greater risk of chronic pain later on.
