Just one reader with a KU account and a library full of MM romance books that I don't remember downloading.
I think the easiest three to knock off my list would be finishing these Tavia Lark titles. But I'm probably going to finish my current read first.

If it's just hitting similar tropes or actual serial number filed fic, But in this case it's a compliment).

8% into wolf at the door and I liked it enough I returned No Pucks (bcuz couldn't remember specifically why I had downloaded it) and snagged the second in that series. Reads like good fanfiction and has very strong Sterek vibes (again, in this case and most of these cases I'm citing I'm not sure

That other author's vibe, but more and more explicit sex scenes.

I also took a side trip into a bunch of marriage of convenience fic for one of my preferred couples, So I might dig around for some of those. I stumbled across another recommendation for himbo hitman so I should probably bump up that

Skim over (which I do in almost all sports romance I read) In a sport I don't know, and b) I think her writing has sharpened since then. I'll definitely keep poking through her back list though.

Added The Wolf at the Door, off of a recommendation in a Reddit post asking for more books that have

Binged thru all three of the Unlikely series and returned, grabbed and read a couple from her Rugby series (I can't tell if this had Ted lasso Roy / Jamie vibes or if it was actually a fic of that that I've read before), And I enjoyed them but I feel like a) there was a lot of sports games for me to

more then I prefer?

I enjoy some dark elements but a lot of the stuff that marks itself as dark romance feels a little bit 'look how daaaaaarrrk'. Which definitely can work but I'm a little bit pickier with, and which viewers too hard into misery corn for my tastes.

Anyway that's all for this

introduction and escalation of kink is intertwined with the character development.

I also really appreciate it when the writing is a little... For lack of a better word voicey? I feel like there's a fair amount of perfectly decent stuff out there that's got the edges sanded off a little bit

Goldilocks in terms of external conflict. Too much and I lose track or get bored, too little and it's like...where's the problem, you're obviously in love with each other.

Obviously I really like it when the external and the internal conflict end up intertwined, and bonus points if the

Books where they fuck half a dozen times in half a dozen ways, but it doesn't particularly zing IMO. Or It's pining pining pining and then once they start banging everything's peachy. What I really want is character and relationship development through the sex.

I also tend to be a little bit of a

I've been meaning to, and I have a slot free now.

As for my general preferences and biases, I do tend to like stuff with a decent amount of on-screen smashing, The equivalent of an M or above on AO3. But genuine sexual tension needs to be there too for me to really enjoy it. I've certainly read

Returned PS and TRG from above because done. Added Until We Fall from Loren Leigh, Because it looked interesting from this thread on Reddit www.reddit.com/r/MM_Romance...

As well as Unlikely Spare by Calder because I am a sucker for some bodyguard/identity porn type stuff. I grabbed that because

Crash-Landed in Love: only about 3% in right now, but I like the voice so far. Can't remember why I set it down, But I'll definitely be taking another stab at it.

tend to like a little more burn during the slow. I do tend to tap out at the last few percent of books when they are in the happily ever after denouement, So I'm pretty much done with it.

Might pick up another from this author if the setup intrigues me but I'm not into MMF so might be a while.

on big tropes central to the plot in a way that I like.

Basically finished Pucking Strong, also a fairly enjoyable/breezy read. The effective plotting had me binge through it in a day. My preference is for a little bit more conflict between the leads, And while I do not mind a slow burn, I do

Recent reading activity:
Finished 'The Revenge Game' A week or so ago. Went down very smooth, I liked the angst of the central conflict, although beyond that it's a little bit fluffier and lower steam than I prefer. Will read from this author again, especially since It appears they tend to lean hard
