I mean... how did they think that was going to work out? Why in the world would people keep showing up to courts trying to do things properly and legally when ICE keeps using it as an opportunity to kidnap people?

I've always thought the main reason their attempted coup failed was because they had convinced themselves the capitol police were on their side and would either lay down their arms, step aside, or join them. I don't believe the Proud Boys and their filth showed up expecting an actual fight.

Homan under Obama was a good guy because he reflected Obama's leadership. Homan under Trump is a bad guy because he reflects Trump's leadership. Apparently his former integrity was on loan from President Obama because Obama had integrity to spare. It apparently didn't carry over into Trump's regime.

America is an occupied country at the moment. Sadly the best America can hope for is that America's dictators will too involved in their white supremacist circle jerk to help Putin (which he's counting on) or get in Europe's way.

They SHOULD take him seriously. Putin is a lunatic. Russia being incapable of destroying European countries certainly doesn't mean Russia wouldn't try. But Russia will likely be destroyed in the process instead. Russia as a country would survive. Putin's regime would not.

They've scurried away like cockroaches every time they've met any actual resistance. That seems to be a lesson American is NOT learning. ICE can be stopped. But it's going to take more than yelling and taking videos.

They made an investment and are still convinced it will eventually be profitable. They don't care what we think. They won't pull back until AI investments have virtually bled their companies dry and they're no longer convinced there's profit in it. Even then they'll write it off.

I built up our back steps and installed an aluminum ramp, and made a concrete ramp onto our driveway. I know this probably isn't what you mean. But it meant my wife got the leave the house in her wheelchair for the first time in years, and I am inordinately proud of it.

3/3 This is not a failure of the product itself. It was solid. Rather, Ford misunderstanding the market. It's certainly not an indictment of EVs in general. Ford tried to market a product no one was clamoring for, just like they did back with the Thunderbird reboot, and with the same results.

2/3 who were most likely to buy it. They should have made a smaller, more affordable truck as an EV. It would have sold like hotcakes. All they did was essentially retrofit the F-150 into an EV version, and nobody was really asking for that. Those folks who did buy one are generally happy with it.
