I'm an elder millennial, career IC. I've had many types of managers. The good ones are amazing and I'd go to bat for them. The bad ones can make me despise work.

Pro athletes to ordinary people like me is such a win win situation. I get to sit on my butt on weekend nights or even holidays being highly engaged and interest and entertained. They get to do their dream job. I hope they earn enough for the trade off of time!

As an avid listener of CBC I am very aware and crushed that Canada beat the USA in a 3-2 overtime classic. As a USA person aware of our slow exit of the first world, this really feels like salt in the wound.

I remember reading the two trap when I was barely a new adult (22 maybe). It really shaped my political views and is probably the reason I've always been more or less a democrat. Only today did I realize Elizabeth Warren was the (an?) author.
