Why would I care how many people enjoy the same things as me? As someone who loves fantasy literature, all that happens when something I enjoy becomes popular is that it gets a terrible film/tv/video game adaptation and people start shipping the characters like it's Twilight.

What is your argument here? If I look at the reviews and all the big publications gave it glowing reviews it proves me right. If they didn't like it, it proves you wrong. What's the goal?

It was unanimously praised by the people with the loudest voices at the time. Your Adam Sessler's and your Polygons were still butthurt over Roger Ebert saying video games weren't art, and they shouted down anyone who didn't worship Infinite as the new messiah.

Maybe, but not common ground with bigots and fascists. Create a place where people from both sides can find something to believe in, but don't extend the olive branch to people who have already shown themselves to have hatred in their hearts.

I could see a world in which it democratises certain disciplines for poorer/outsider artists, like an isolated artist in a poor country using generated code to make a video game or something, but I know the end result of something like this is never democratisation, it's destruction.
