if i was gonna give people going to Magic Con Atlanta one tip, it is to remember that commander games take a lot longer than you think, and if you want to do anything else, like see artists or whatever, budget your time and carryons accordingly. Also bring a reusable water bottle.
it's so funny to think about how much i used to carry to cons (10 commander decks! a full chaos draft pod and lands! D&D books on the off chance!), and how i basically slimmed down to bare minimums- like 2 commander decks, a pack of sleeves for the unknown event, and my dice box and mat
Only bringing 3 decks to MagicCon this time around! The backpack was just too heavy in Vegas.

Got a handful of messages overnight from folks who are mad that I am not mourning and not explicitly decrying guns and violence.
