I don't really think pardons should be a thing, period. Kind of upends the rule of law when one person can invalidate the verdict of a jury. What's the point?

Streamers and wannabe-streamers. Creating a game that can generate viral social media clips/content is a main goal because it is a major/primary avenue for advertising these days.
Case in point: every single Backrooms game.

And the real deal is; Max doesn't have to win. He's done this before. Lando isn't in the same boat. He HAS to win. That is a huge advantage for Max, despite all the cope you will hear about how being in the lead is better. Not in this scenario.

It's wild to argue that this ISN'T drivers exploiting the track layout and then to say the track limits should be disregarded. Like... No, man. That's not how racing works. Just because you like a driver doesn't mean the rules shouldn't apply to them. Stay on the track.
