Woke up today to a new house upgrade (tier four, third upgrade). Thank goodness, because I ran out of storage and I was starting to pile my trash on the ground outside.

It's day 17 on Idyllwood, and much like real life, the seasons are changing.
This winter I'm experiencing something new: I'm spending the holidays in the Midwest with my boyfriend's family. As a lifelong California resident, I am a bit intimidated by the upcoming cold.

Tonight, I've decided to begin playing the original Animal Crossing alongside New Horizons.
I'm curious to see the first installment in the franchise that started it all off. However, I'm using Cuyler's mod so I can enjoy the original essence of the game with modern day quality improvements.

Ah, right after inviting Deli to settle down here, I encountered Wisp for the first time. Wasn't expecting him right there so it spooked me (very fitting).
I am loving meeting all the NPCs one-by-one, slowly!
