WGF is opposed to Senate Bills 127 and 128 on PFAS because they do nothing to help release the $125 million set aside in the Joint Committee on Finance to help pay for PFAS cleanup and they let companies off the hook for paying for the pollution that they caused.

There will be a press conference on Oct 1 at 12pm in Madison on the Line 5 Pipeline Re-route in northern Wisconsin around the Bad River Reservation. A contested case hearing is ongoing in Madison this month.

Thanks to WisPolitics for publishing our article on Wisconsin's Fish and Wildlife Account! One of the main points is that the DNR properly managed the account, but more funding is needed to properly take care of our state's fisheries and wildlife populations.
