An unbelievable amount of gratitude to everyone who worked on this. Legislature, activists, every single person spreading awareness on it.
It’s an easy time right now to slip into full on cynicism, but this is a huge win that helps keep hope alive.

I guess as good of a first BluSky post as any is that today I went to the third public CTA budget meeting to complain about slow zones and the forest park branch. Was good to be around so many people caring about transit. I really hope IL doesn’t drop the ball on this.
