Even +12 wouldn't be very impressive tbh. Virginia was D+~6 in 2024 while the nation was R+~2, so 8 points to the left of the nation. D+12 would be a 6 point swing, so assuming uniformity (maybe wrong but still) you'd expect to pin the nation at D+4 or so with that result
