Bangla WikiConnect has transformed once-quiet Wikimedia projects through collaboration. With 10,000 new pages, 3 million words added, 200 contributors, and 1,000 participants, collaboration has brought Bangla Wikimedia projects to life.

The Wali Mash-Up Edit-a-thon grew the Wali language’s digital presence with 220 new Wikipedia articles and multiple Wikimedia Commons uploads. More than edits, it empowered youth to reclaim narratives and bridge content gaps.

The Android and iOS apps allow readers to find geotagged articles near their current location. That means you can learn about a nearby landmark just by opening the Wikipedia app. You can also organize articles into lists and access them while offline using the apps’ Reading List feature. (3/4)

Within three years, he had transformed from a newcomer into a respected contributor. Then came a surprise Mohammed still recalls with astonishment: he was nominated for an administrator role on Arabic Wikipedia by the very same editor who had previously blocked him three times. (3/4)

He was blocked three times by administrators. Each block felt discouraging, but instead of walking away, Mohammed chose to learn: studying editing policies, community norms, and the expectations of reliable sourcing. That persistence paid off.  (2/4)
