when i went to disney world for my first “real” (not one single day) trip with my best friend and her mom, her mom would get up early every morning to walk the hourglass lake loop, before walking the usual miles every day in the parks. you do your passion, that’s what you do.

college wasn’t a good time for me. my family fell apart my second year, and i had to focus on work and keeping my head barely above water instead of my courses and social life. and i’ll be in debt til i die. but hey, i did the thing. and it’s wild to be so far removed, now. so, i’ll take that.

when my husband and i first moved in together i swear popcorn was the *only* snack we ate. we had so many seasonings! it was such a Thing for us. we never did the stove top, but have one of those air popper things.

i wore a sweater and thin yoga-style pants for our running around today and i was comfy as can be. we’re a weirdly hearty breed in western PA!

if you have a car and aren’t relying on uber, absolutely drive the peninsula! it’s at its most gorgeous in the winter. recommend juice jar or brew haha for good food/coffee on your way. the food hall downtown has several cool stalls in it, not sure what vegan options now, but it’s festive!
