While we're grateful to have this murmuration, we came so close to losing it, & the site remains unprotected in the Local Development Plan. In coming months there'll be a consultation on designating new Sites of Local Nature Conservation Importance, so be sure to respond & protect places like this!

Like many native species, Starlings are rapidly declining in the UK. Urban wildlife sites like the Albert Bridge are vital for biodiversity & connection to nature.
