Nothing could prepare me for walking into a Best Buy today and having to explain to two different employees what a mp3 player was (one didn’t even know how to pronounce it) only be told “yeah we probably don’t have anything like that.”

Kinda hoping now that she’s gone full MAGA people will realize what I’ve known forever: Nicki Minaj’s music is shit and she makes every song she samples infinitely worse. She had one good feature on a Kanye West song and peaked with that. Everything else is just wack.

I saw a review calling Skyrim Anniversary for Switch 2 a bad port and I’m really confused because did we play the same game? Do they know what a bad port is or is this more “PC Master Race” bullshit?

I love how, for a brief moment, I considered getting into other Larian games because of how much I loved BG3 (I even picked @barrels.bsky.social ‘s brain about it as I trust his recs above all others) only for them to milkshake duck into genAI users, killing any and all interest I had in them.

New Star Wars racer? I’m tentatively excited. But the way Star Wars games have been lately I can’t get my hopes up. They’re either overhyped mediocre games or live service games doomed to die despite being good.

Finally able to get my hands on the #MTG FFVIII scene bundle. My LGS shadow dropped them without preorders so I thought I would be doomed to a FFVIII commander deck-less existence when they sold out. Thankfully Target had one (!) left so it’s time to get my gunblade on.

Still at a loss too do after rotation. I’ve been a Grand Inquisitor guy since day 1. Dedra looks interesting but i don’t like paying control in #SWU, I’m not sure if I can make Padmé work the way I want, and Yularen is probably going to see a lot of play. At least I have 3 months to decide.

Friday’s #SWU was cool, not just because again 2-1 (my loss to the guy who won our last PQ), but because a lot of friends I hadn’t seen in awhile were there! A few military guys back from deployment and a couple who were taking a break. Reminds me why I play honestly.

They should put it all in the same park as the Marvel stuff and every 3 hours the cast members must fight The Warriors style out in the street for all to see.
