As someone who's always been on the fence with Dorfromantik, (At this point I'm not even sure why) this has imnmediately caught my attention. It's on the radar for sure!

You also don't get to choose, per say, like in DRG, but rewards eventually cycle and come back in future seasons.

... Ok I'm gonna stop now (I think)
(Also, not sponsored by Warframe)

Damn... 3/?

I guess it also is more like a battle pass in the sense that it does not offer purely cosmetic stuff (Like Deep Rock Galactic), so I guess there can be some FOMO around some of the useful stuff you can get in it.

I don't have that problem because I seem to play Warframe religiously.

some weekly and daily stuff. It *also* doesn't have a paid tier, and while you can miss on the daily and weekly stuff, it's not too big of a deal, because:
1: You get more than enough to "complete" the nightwave for a season (i.e. getting rank 30)
2: You can recover weeklies that you've missed. 2/2

I guess you can look at them like that, yeah. I just love how very little intrusive they are about it, too.

Second closest that comes to mind is Warframe's "Nightwave" system. It would be closer to a battle pass in that it has a time limit (Albeit a very generous one) and ... 1/?

Closest I can think of is Deep Rock Galactic.
(Rock and Stone!)

You can't pay for the seasons, and you don't miss on any, since you can come back and choose to play wichever one you want.
