I live in the Hebrides rather than Shetland. Trees were cleared to make way for agriculture. They will grow here if you protect them from the wind and the herbivores. Once you grow some you can use them as shelter belts to grow more

It’s a relatively cheap, solar trail camera, think it’s a Campak T180 from memory. Had it for a few years and it’s been my favourite camera. I’ve had also sorts over the years but none beat the depth of field of this one.
