Gun violence is bad. Full stop. Gun violence in this country is out of control. Full stop. But I have a hard time feeling sadness for a guy who promoted and encouraged sexual violence against women.

Parents of children who pass for what society thinks of as "normal" aren't always happy and delighted with their children. So why do we expect parents of children with cognitive or developmental delays to be that way?

Yes! Saturday morning I felt happy. I went to bed feeling happy last night and woke up happy this morning, despite it being cold, wet, and Monday. I'm going to savor the feeling.
I do think it’s super important right now and in the foreseeable future to really value moments of joy and to be intentional about making as many of them as you can
