I recently read the novelization of Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, by Jerome Preisler. I wasn't expecting much, but had heard the text expands some scenes, offers a slightly different death for Johnny Cage, and part of me was curious if it could help this black sheep of a beloved franchise.

Nintendo wants to say Mario and Peach are just friends now, but I've worked too hard over the years for these two not to be married and banging by this point.

I recently finished MOX by Jon Moxley. It's about his experiences as a wrestler, but he also takes a few words to share jokes, movie picks, and explain how much he loves Lana Del Rey in between chapters.

Alright, I finished reading NOS4A2 by Joe Hill. This book is incredibly creative and has a solid, dark narrative. There are some interesting (as well as annoying) characters and an enjoyable ending, plus it does something fun with the closing credits.
