The black swallowtail caterpillar loves my dill and completely blends in!

I’m so amazed at how caterpillars do a complete transformation into butterflies!

In fact other insects do a complete metamorphosis too, like the Japanese beetle, June bug and houseflies.

We found an ancient spring in Wales! Once dedicated to a Celtic goddess named Annis, later Christianised to St Anne.

Many offerings had been placed at the well and so it is still honoured as a sacred site. We reclaimed it in the name of Goddess... and named my dog Mistress of The Well 😉

Today is the feast day of Mary Magdalene. She is known as the apostle of the apostles and she is now being venerated after centuries of deliberate denigration. I honour her as a female mystic and an embodiment of the divine feminine 🌹

Today I came across this awesome stag beetle in the park. I was impressed with his valiant attempts to vanquish me with his pincers as I popped him on a leaf and carried him to safety.

Stag beetles are known for their mythological and spiritual significance. I feel blessed!
