that image 2 in your post is a lot, i love the brightness focus you did in it with the kitten sleepy, it's comfy as with the rest of the comic ^~^

"formal" for too much corpo speak or too much distance between reader and speaker, "didactic" if it focuses too much on passing info with no conversation, "clinical" if too explicit with too little personal involvement, are other words to describe it depending on the context. i'd say too formal.

btw if you share a bypass for it you risk 5 year prison for piracy depending on where you live

i would much prefer that plasma-emojier did it out of the box tho. i would love a KRunner plugin for it as well.

@kde.org i wonder if there's any issues open on that, i don't think i ever browsed those

┻┳|・ω・) hi

for curiosity i looked up a solution for desktops on Flathub and on Github. on Flathub i found nothing, but on Github i found Splatmoji (under MIT) github.com/cspeterson/s... for copying things :3

still works despite archival+5years
GitHub - cspeterson/splatmoji: Quickly look up and input emoji and/or emoticons/kaomoji on your GNU/Linux desktop via pop-up menu.

i know :c

i keep doing it because i know it's at least possible to have someone be okay with having things shown to them or being told "you're wrong, unless there's something i'm missing", specially because i've been confidently wrong about things before. people being dicks isn't the default to me

yeahh you're just being an asshole now.
December 26, 2025 at 2:17 AM
i'll say i do have the tendency to over-explain things when i feel i'll be misunderstood otherwise or if i feel i'm not getting told the whole deal, and right now i feel like you're looking for reasons not to take what i say as being sincere.
December 26, 2025 at 2:04 AM
i don't know, you haven't explained what that entails for this conversation yet. does that changes the context of what i'm saying, or implies that i might be saying something else entirely i might not have been explicit about so far?

you sound like you're saying that being sentimental about literally the topic of connecting with people around yourself is a bad thing. give yourself time to breathe, genuinely, you seem to have something bottled up.
December 26, 2025 at 1:18 AM
please focus on actual information instead of smug replies. is there a thing i am genuinely overlooking that you see, given the explanation i just shared, or is this going to be another case of you trying to say "old man yell at cloud" by the sole virtue of AI being a new tech? explain your premise.
December 26, 2025 at 12:28 AM
i mean yeah, the kind of people who teaches to read and to support their neighbors are consistently going to be a threat to bourgeois, so of course they become a priority target of new tech controlled by them. what's the news?

i kinda enjoy thinking about the kind of dissonance that makes bigots think they did a good job at spreading hate when their art turns out to have the complete opposite tone, even though a lot of the time the objective isn't to persuade but to alienate people away from critical thinking.

the idea was to depict them as being lesser for having their mother helping wear the clothes, or just in general the idea of "protesters can't even wear clothes on their own", but just came off as a tone of a mother caring for her child and teaching what she knows.
