A fair critique I agree with is that I can link a post on forum from basically anywhere. But Discord you have to join the server to see it. Thats annoying and shouldn’t replace linkable company announcements elsewhere.

Discord has fine search and chats persist forever.

Forums AND Discord BOTH have users ask the same question over and over not because of some Discord failing but because of human nature. People would rather just ask than find the answer.

If you prefer forums, fine. But your reason doesn’t add up.
