Absolutely agree! Reminds me of a faction of humanity in an Alastair Reynolds novel that was hyper-democratic and voted on every decision via neural links.

I'd personally like to see the 2-party.system demolished and a parliamentary system put in its place. This "either or" 2-party crap is largely why we're in this mess. It promotes political divide and extremism. Compromising govts are best.
