I didn’t even get an inclining that redundancy was even a possibility. I returned from 2 weeks annual leave to be invited into the office to be confronted by HR and my Departmental Manager. I hummed and hawed for 8 weeks on ‘garden leave’ then accepted the package which included 13 weeks notice!
