Yeah not doubting its bad, but I've been seeing this post everywhere and it's fake
Dont know why. The actual reviews are also awful

Look, the movie probably sucks, but to be real, these reviews are all fake. None of these quotes are real

Its so hard to justify to people why this is one of my absolute favorite movies

As an actor, its unfair to actively leverage your fanbase or to rally up a new fanbase in place of the hard work many actors put in
Its as simple as that
I dont care if you think your motivation for doing so is just

A lot of people grind and work really hard to get lucky enough to be in the consideration for a role
The energy used to start a campaign could be used to work on your portfolio rather than pathetically begging for a role like a child
Its a hard industry that requires a lot of work and luck

I'll be real, and I dont speak for Martin, but no, I dont think you deserve to get to read just because you want it.
That's not passion
That entitlement

And lastly, if someone does have the ability to use their fanbase to get them a role, that's just shitty. Imagine a studio bending to the fan vote and not casting your mythical Mark and or Kevin level talent because they didnt have enough Twitter stans

And like, your argument is "what if they are good," but I'd argue that being good isn't always why people are cast. They might just not fit for a role. Then if they don't get it, it looks like you kicked up a bunch of dust for nothing
ACTIVELY doing it YOURSELF is a bad look
Just let it be natural

Yeah but its not professional and if you fail to get any momentum, you just look like am ass or a loon
