So the world was 1.5 C warmer in 2024 than it used to be.
Compotex is 100% powered by electricity and they say UK electricity will be 95% renewable or net zero in 5 years.

My New Year Resolution for 2025 is to do an online photo diary with BeReal.

The App alerts you to taking a photo forwards and backwards at the same time.

This was my first photo, mistakenly in landscape. BeReal needs it in portrait.

In a year’s time I hope I will put together an album to print.

Getting ready for the next export. This is how it goes for goods manufactured by Compotex in the UK:

1. Sell fabric to Compotex GmbH, arrange export paperwork and arrange collection.
2. Agent in Germany receives the goods, clears customs and makes the VAT payment.
3. Onward shipment to customer.

Needed to bring some USA fabric into the UK from the EU. Guess what, we have to pay a tariff even though the EU company has already paid the tariff.

Double tariffs because the UK is no longer in the customs union.
