This year my employer planned on having ONE day of class + finals/juries after Thanksgiving. They canceled the last day of class (tomorrow) without informing faculty. Now the only thing between breaks is finals week. It makes no sense!

I have been spared this so far and this is the first I’m hearing of it, but it sounds utterly horrifying.

This kind of exchange is why my Reddit presence as a participant is very very very limited.

I dunno, aren’t millennials kinda the OG cell phone addicts? Not as cooking a technology as AI, but pretty sure it collectively cooked our attention spans, our ability to be alone with our thoughts, etc.
