It doesn’t help that it also has the microtransaction store built into the pause menu like other recent entries which I really hate.

I might stick with it and just beeline through the main story, but even three hours in I’m struggling to maintain that motivation

I have played other falling blocks puzzle games besides Puyo and Tetris but Lumines’ approach still feels wholly unique. The Burst mechanic also adds some more strategic consideration and has bailed me out many times.

I hope to crack the last few areas soon and then try out the missions

Me seeing someone in power do everything they can to make things worse: Wow this is just like Ocarina of Time

Trump is committing war crimes in broad daylight, multiple White House staff members have been outed as Nazis, we have recorded proof of his cronies lying about deportations but we still somehow “have to have an investigation”???

Just say you don’t care at this point. It would be more honest

“Rest in the House of Light” is sending me right now, as well as the last song being four seconds long. The more I look at the track list the better it gets

Maybe I’ll feel differently once I fight the Skeleton Lords or some other bosses, but the most annoyance I’ve felt is some frustrating boss runbacks and enemy placements.

We’ll see how I’m feeling 20 hours from now I guess (3/3)

Granted, I am playing Scholar of the First Sin and well after plenty of patches have come out, but it’s hard for me to believe that the original is that much worse.

I enjoy the game’s odd sense of humor and the way you explore the world. I think how this game handles being undead is neat too (2/3)

If I like a game enough I’m going to replay it. Forcing me to replay it just to get an ending when not that much changes between replays is tedious to me.

I did have fun with Hades but I definitely don’t want to complete it. I feel like doing so is just going to make me hate it (3/3)

I really wanted to love this game since I like so much about it (the writing, combat, music) but the main gameplay loop of playing the same game over and over again before unlocking basic gameplay features really wore me down.

I just don’t like Roguelites I guess (2/3)
