I guess I'm on bluesky now.

Here's some of the work I've been doing looking at the Alaska State Legislature. 30yrs of looks available at willmuldoon.com/RCVAR

Looking to share some analysis and tools with the Alaskan homies.

5070ti 16gb! I'm stoked. Last card I bought was 2gb.

Using it for developing local secure ai.

But also gaming. I wanna get flight sim going in the VR headset with juiced settings and see wtf is up. Maybe get a hotas and stick.

Friday just got delivered for me!

I'm waiting for a delivery of a computer right now that'll host an AI trained specifically on all CBJ boards and commissions and public meetings.

Still love and believe in Juneau, just couldn't afford a pivot on short notice.

We're up on Chena Ridge.

We haven't been out and about much.

Fred Meyer and Home Depot after 5pm are usually good spots to catch us rn. We will be more social once we wrap some nesting and projects.

Bookmarked this for a fun look.

My gut: overall and per capita is probably not.

"It's a dry cold".

- people who wholly accept spending a lifetime of grabbing the cart basket first because it's so cold they installed a bay door for quick cart drops.

First week in Fairbanks:

• I'm a jungle curry extra hot from lemon grass man.

• I like hiding in the woods with the gang.

• This whole ass town puts their shopping carts in the wrong direction in the bay, and everyone acts like it's some social contract. I found my niche and my angle.

*Suzanne has a journalism background, so emdashes aren't immediately the robot...but they're the usual telltale. Humans don't use them informally.

But she also has a verifiable corpus of hundreds of thousands of words spanning years of articles, which makes it extremely easy to check her work...

Here's a graph looking at what the Legislature appropriated to Comm Assistance...

Probably means nothing.

Rep. Munoz did write a letter to the courts asking for leniency of a sexual predator on legislative letterhead several years ago.

Jerry Anderson was administrator back then and was helpful on answering procedurals but barred from really engaging with me on a back and forth.

You can search them here:

Some relevant strings to search:

07-02
07-04
08-03

(They're all Advisory opinions on conflict of interest – using state resources, which is also a good search string)

I'm curious as to the legislative purpose Rep. Vance's letter falls under.

But no one other than the cmte in a hearing can answer these questions...we can guess and they can advise but that's it.

But citizens have a route to apply direct pressure here. As do fellow elected officials.

im not holding my breath. Maybe I'll inquire after I unpack.
willmuldoon.bsky.social
If it isn't merely a complaint of a citizen and indeed the stance of the office... What are those implications?

All that said: even when Muñoz sent Anderson her letter void of letterhead, and he was later informed, he didn't belive it to be a misuse.

Conversely: it's the cmte's jurisdiction.
willmuldoon.bsky.social
I'd offer that is more likely to be unethical if it is merely a complaint of a citizen, and that complaint is solely delivered using state resources.

Why is state resources necessary for delivery of the message?

Then there is the context itself: She implies a boycott and reputational harm.
willmuldoon.bsky.social
Oh shit.

Fun fact:

Alaska State Legislature's select committee on Ethics is one of the few arenas citizens actually are able to directly ask questions to the chair and the administrator.

I got nowhere when Munoz was letterhead loose, but YMMV? 🤷‍♂️
