It has been a few days, and after some time to get used to it I would like to revise my opinion of iOS 26 and its re “Liquid Glass” design language. I can now confidently say that I seriously dislike. It’s ugly, and worse still it’s janky.

Very odd and “vivid” #dreams last night. Despite having pronounced #Aphantasia, such that I can’t “see” images in my dreams, I can still experience dreams with varying degrees of vividness. Like stories, they can carry a strong or weak sense of verisimilitude , presence or connection.

I’d genuinely love to see those books—and hear what you consider British food. I certainly struggle to define it. Returning from Japan was tough for many reasons, not least going from a passionate food culture to one that too often prioritises quantity and price over quality and experience.

New things! The Green Knight (2021) because it was awesome and deserves to be seen without Amazon Primes belief that cubism is the only way to experience dark or low contrast scenes. And Nosferatu (2024) because after The Lighthouse (2019) and The Witch (2015) I will watch all the Eggers. #film

Can someone explain how #LinkedIn Premium could possibly be worth £70/month? I was expecting £7—and even then! It’s mostly inane motivational memes and “insightful” business BS. Do they print it, leather-bind it, and have it recited to you during a deep tissue massage with optional happy ending?

As a lifelong and committed #CoffeeLover, I now find I need to avoid #Coffee for health reasons (even #Decaf). Looking to replace my morning #DripCoffee fix—has anyone had much luck with #Chicory? It’s not terrible, but if you can recommend a good #ChicoryCoffee brand, I’d appreciate it.

Rewatched the annoyingly titled LOL: Last One Laughing—a "witty" redefinition immediately undermined by comedy’s greatest nemesis: the need to explain. Genuinely enjoyed it. After seeing the Japanese original (Documental), I’d always wondered what a British version might be like. A lot less nudity.
