As our first order of business, Willow Reading Circle is recruiting board members. Have an interest in reading, literacy, and community-building? Want to promote connection for everyone? Have experience raising funds and guiding eagles? WRC with us!
Call for Board of Directors: Submit your nominations and applications. The Willow Reading Circle needs board members to launch! We invite nominations and applications from interested and qualified folks who want to join a dynamic and interactive community-centered project that promotes access, literacy, and connection for everyone under its branches. To be considered, you'll have: - Capacity for providing mentorship in professional contexts, - Connection to disabled, 2SLGBTQIA+ & BIPOC communities, - Have a record of service in community organizing and/or literacy education, and - Experience working with donors and fundraising. We're looking for: Approximately 3 board members, one to serve as President, another to serve as Treasurer, and people who can give about 5 hours a month. Questions & Submit.
