in another role. Job One is double what I was on this time last year so has some symbolic pull if nothing else. Job Two has weekends off, early enough starts that I’ll finish during daylight year-round and still-decent pay. It’s literally money vs quality of life, head vs heart right now.

That’s assuming they offer me the job, of course. The parting tone seemed pretty positive and the estimated time to hear was out at Thursday. I’ll have had Interview Two by then so a better overall picture will be in place. That’s still a good amount pay wise - 32% more than I’ve ever been paid…
