Stayed up WAY TOO LATE finishing the itch io page for "DADDYS CHRISTMAS" my little Christmas #horror game. I forgot how much work setting up a page can be!

I will be releasing it tomorrow morning after I sanity check myself. Hope some ppl play it!!!

I was procrastinating working on transitioning to a "ragdoll camera" when a player gets hit but I finally sat down and just did it. I think it turned out pretty well actually!

When I started developing my multiplayer game no one told me i would spend SO MUCH time just getting players into a lobby/room with each other 😭 Networked games are HARD 😭

Also my cat who has been helping :)

Spent some time replacing Mirror Networking's default room GUI. It's still rough around the edges but I like the direction it's heading in. And most importantly, IT WORKS! Took WAY longer than I thought it would though 😅

#unity tip: You can create editor hotkeys SUPER EASILY. This makes "Shift + Alt + 1" open my game's lobby scene. All you need to do is append a hotkey code to the MenuItem's name. I do this for all of the scenes I commonly use because I HATE needing to look through the project files. #indiegamedev
